Lukonis is 5-10 with an athletic 160 pound frame that has some strength present and a lot of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance, strides on line, short smooth load back. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with some strength at contact and extension through the ball. Showed a good approach working gap to gap, some natural loft built into swing and extra base power present with the potential for more in the future, exit velocity was 90. In the infield, gets body behind the ball and fields with a wider base and above average hands, works through the ball to a quick clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short loose quick arm action, position velocity was 84. Showed versatility working out in the outfield as well. Ran a 7.18 60 yard dash. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short loose quick arm action and higher effort to his delivery. Shoulders are slightly uphill and slightly closed, lands slightly closed with a fall off finish and some recoil. Fastball was 76-80, touching 81, with downward angle to it and a bit of late armside run that plays up when thrown to his armside. Slider was 65-69 with good armspeed and late hard 11/5 break to it. Change-up was 72-74 with good armspeed and some sink to it.
