Markley is 5-10 with an athletic frame that has strength present and some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, two tap stride on line, minimal load back. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path, strong contact point and some extension through the ball, showed a primarily pull approach with the ability to work gap to gap, some power present in the alleys, exit velocity was 85. In the outfield, gets behind ball and fields through it with average hands, clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a short arm action, position velocity was 80. Ran a 6.80 60 yard dash.
