Higgerson is 6-0 with an athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He throws from multiple arm slots with his primary one being a lower three-quarters arm slot, short loose arm action that is very quick with normal effort. Smooth delivery, shoulders level and closed, lands slightly closed with an athletic finish. Fastball was 78-82, touching 83 with hard late run to it. Curveball was 71-73 with sharp 11/5 break, good shape and good armspeed. Change-up was 70-72 with good armspeed and heavy fade. When he drops down, fastball has heavy run to it and some sink, slider has sharp 10/4 break with some depth to it.

Higgerson is a very interesting right-handed pitching prospect. Has an athletic durable frame. He has a short quick and compact delivery with tempo. Has a shorter athletic arm action throwing from a three quarter slot but also showing the ability to throw from multiple angles as later in the game he did drop down occasionally to side arm with his fastball. Fastball ranged 82-84 touching 85 on the day and had a lot of action on the pitch with arms side run and sink. Threw a harder breaking ball up to 76 miles an hour that show 10/4 shape and swing-and-miss potential. An athletic pitching prospect that repeated delivery well, changing angles while throwing strikes. He's one to keep an eye on in the 2020 class as there is more in the tank and he should continue to build arm strength down the road.
