Curtis is 6-1 with a physical athletic 210 pound frame that has some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an open balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, smooth load back to a slight bar. Hips rotate and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, goes straight to the ball, uphill swing path with extension through the ball, showed good approach working gap to gap, swing generates some natural loft and carry, exit velocity was 83. In the infield, gets body behind ball and fields with a wider base and average hands, works through the ball to a clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 79. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, very short free quick arm action and some effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are uphill and closed, lands closed with an athletic finish. Fastball was 74-80, touching 81, with some downward angle and a bit of late armside run. Curveball was 69-70 with good armspeed and sharp power 12/6 break to it.
