VA/MD State Games

5-foot-7, 170-pound strong solid build. On the mound, used a compact quick arm action and an over-the-top arm angle while showing consistent developing arm speed. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher and shows decent effort. Uphill shoulders and a low balance point. Lands square with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 74-77 mph with a max of 78 mph; has deceiving late action and control glove side around the zone. (Max spin 2101; Avg 1990). Had some command and slight late action on his 12/6 curveball (70-73). (Max spin 2428; Avg 2250).

5-foot-7, 170-pound strong solid frame. Confident during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 84 mph. (63.6 mph bat speed average). (18.6 mph hand speed average). Began in a tall open stance with a rhythmic controlled load, then used a controlled big leg kick. Bat speed is quick, has a level swing plane and high finish. He found some barrels in his round. Aggressive gap to gap approach. While catching, his best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 70 mph; had a clean fluid transfer, consistent quick footwork, and consistent sure hands. had a pop time of 2.18-2.32. Above average flexibility and calm flexible setup. Decent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot and a longer arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.7.

Richeson is 5-7 with a strong athletic frame. He hits from the right side from an open balanced athletic stance, short stride open, short smooth load back. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, goes straight to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with strength at contact point and extension through the ball, showed a good approach working gap to gap with some natural loft in his swing, power potential present, exit velocity was 83. Behind the plate, clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 74 and pop times 2.08-2.56. Receiving, works from one knee to get low, works up to ball and shows some sway. Ran a 4.53 home to first. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, shorter free arm action with high effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands on line with a fall off finish and recoil. Fastball was 76-79, with downward plane a heavy armside run. Curveball was 72-73 with good armspeed and sharp 12/6 break to it. Slider was 73-75 good armspeed and hard downer break.
