8.10.16: Whitfield has an athletic 5-11 frame and throws from an over the top slot with a drop and drive delivery. Short, free arm action generates velocity with normal effort. Shoulders uphill and closed with a square landing and athletic finish. Fastball had late sink, sitting 69-71. 12/6 curveball with decent armspeed at 63-65.
