Hits from slightly open set up form the left side. Short swing with quick hands at the plate. Pull side tendencies in swing. Peppers the 3-4 hole and shows doubles power to the right-center gap. Appeared comfortable battling deep into counts and working at bats. Is a corner defender with average arm strength and accuracy across the infield.

Ironbridge/Spiders Scout Day
Compact frame for Bendall at 5-7, 195-pounds. Hits from the left side with a short compact swing and barrel showed some whip through the zone. Swing displayed solid early connection with the ability to adjust throughout. Had some really nice rounds of BP on the day and displayed solid feel for the barrel. Flashed doubles power in the swing and worked gap to gap showing some carry in the right center field gap. Sound defender at third base and should continue to progress with added arm strength.

Preseason All-State II
Solid compact frame at 5-foot-7, 195-pounds. At the plate Bendall starts with a square stance, small toe tap stride, and hands make short load in rhythm. Barrel whips through the zone with some pullside tendency and carry in the gap. Maintains balance throughout the swing. Defensively works outside of the ball, left foot gets down on time, and fields with average hands out front. Displays the ability to throw from multiple arm slots and accuracy across the infield with a positional velocity of 74 miles per hour. On the mound he starts with a small rocker average balance point and shoulders closed. Hands make a quick late break to a short arm action from a three-quarter arm slot. Fastball sat 75-76 mph and had some arm side fade. Threw a 64-67 mph curveball that showed 12-6 action with tight shape. Displayed above-average feel for a changeup that worked to both sides of the plate at 70-71 mph.
