7/20/14 Fowler displayed a line drive approach from a slightly open stance with a high hands load. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound right-handed registered a 76 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 7.27 60-yard dash. The uncommitted senior demonstrated a soft glove hand and the ability to make plays on the move with an 81 mph arm across the diamond. Fowler flashed the ability to make throws from several arm angles and the strength to get a runner following a back handed sliding stop in the hole at shortstop.
