Davies is a St. Joseph's commit and has an athletic frame with some strength present and projection left to it. He throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, longer, free quick arm action with some effort to his delivery. Drop and drive in his delivery, shoulders are uphill and closed, lands closed with a hard fall off finish and recoil. Fastball was 85-87, touching 88, pitch had some downward angle and heavy boring action to armside. Curveball was 69-73 with good armspeed and sharp power 11/5 break, shows ability to manipulate shape based on arm slot. Effective in the strike zone in his first two innings, generating weak contact, striking out 3 while allowing 1 hit and 1 walk.
