8.9.17:  Reid is 6-5 with a lankier athletic frame, throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot. Drop and drive delivery, longer loose arm action that is quick, normal effort to delivery. Shoulders uphill and on line, lands slightly closed with a bit of a fall off finish. Fastball was 77-82, touching 84, with downward plane and a bit of late run to it. Showed a change-up in warmups with heavy fade to it. Curveball was 62 with big 11/5 break. Slider was 68 with harder late 11/5 break and some armspeed.

Shoulders are on line and slightly uphill, lands slightly open with some recoil to his finish. Fastball was 80-82, touching 83 with late run. Curveball had gradual 12/6 break and some armspeed, running 64-68. Change-up had late sink and some armspeed, sitting 69-70.
