Preseason All-State I
Athletic frame at 6-foot, 160-pounds. Home-1st time was 4.39. Hits from the right side with an athletic square stance. Small leg lift with a stride forward landing on line, hands load back with rhythm, and bat path was flat and stayed through extension. Hips fire with some aggression and swing appeared to be a solid line drive swing with some pull side tendencies. Feet were active and aggressive on approach playing behind the ball with nice glove presentation to catch. Clean exchange to a longer arm action, but showed some arm speed getting it through throwing from the outfield at 84 mph.
Top Prospect Games II
Goodhart is 5-11 with an athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, strides on line, loads back into a wrap, hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some balance during his swing. Short and quick to ball, slightly uphill path with extension through it, showed slight pull preference got more uphill to pull side, exit velocity was 79. In the outfield, has speed, fields with average hands, clean exchange. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 81.
