Morris has an athletic frame that still has projection left to it. He showed athleticism at both short and third during the weekend and made some one-step quickness plays on the weekend that were outstanding. Showed lateral range as well, smooth actions and soft hands. At the plate, he hits from the right side with a short level line drive stroke. Batspeed evident and some whip to his bat, ball jumps off a bit, has gap power with a chance to grow into some home run pop.
11.1.17:  Athletic projectable frame at 5-10, 160-pounds. Hits from an athletic set up with some rhnythm and high hands. Smooth swing with free hands at the plate and some bat speed. Hands worked well barreling multiple balls during the day. Has clean actions from the shortstop position with a quick and confident first step. Able to cover both sides well with range. Throw have some carry on them, works thru ball well. 7.00 60-yard dash.
