Jack Richburg: RHP/3B, (2023) Champlain Valley Union, VT. 5-foot-11, 185-pound athletic solid build. Capable on the mound, used a consistent loose arm action with a ¾ arm angle while showing developing arm speed. Feel type pitcher who shows some effort. He has in line shoulders with a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a balanced finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 77-80 mph and topped out at 81 mph; had control arm side around the zone and running action. His curveball (63-66) showed glove side around the zone command and sweeping action.
Jack Richburg: RHP/3B, (2023) out of Champlain Valley Union, VT. is a 5-foot-10, 167-pound right-handed pitching prospect. On the mound, Richburg uses a clean, easy delivery. He gets to a consistent balance point before separating and heading down the mound, in line with home plate. A long, low ¾ arm slot, producing a fastball with heavy sinking action 79-80 MPH. He also mixed in a curveball (66-68 MPH) with sweeping action and a changeup (70-73 MPH) with late sinking action.
5-foot-10, 16-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 77-78 mph with arm side action to the pitch. The spin pitch is 66-67 mph and needs additional fastball hand speed added to the pitch. The changeup is 70-72 mph with solid rotation to the pitch. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The tempo of the delivery is solid as he stays within his delivery. The arm works free and clean. The arm is short on the back half and he showed the ability to pound the zone with his pitches. Additional weight and physical strength is needed as he matures in age. I like his feel for his process.
