John Luter III: OF/RHP, (2026) Colchester High School, VT. 5-foot-9, 175-pound solid frame. Capable during batting practice, the left-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 88 mph. (63.6 mph bat speed average). (18.7 mph hand speed average). Starts in a narrow stance with a wrapping load, then uses a closed small stride. Had an uphill swing plane, developing bat speed and high finish. Created loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Capable in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 82 mph; shows a natural exchange, developing consistent feet, and developing soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing athletically. Used a ¾ slot with a loose arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base. Projectable on the mound, showed developing arm speed with a ¾ arm angle and a loose quick arm action. Feel type pitcher and showed  some effort. Displays in line shoulders with a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 80-81 mph; shows control arm side around the zone and running sinking action. (Max spin 2264; Avg 2123). Had slurvey action and glove side around the zone command on his curveball (65-66). (Max spin 2703; Avg 2590). Had arm side command and gradual fading action on his changeup (73-74).

John Luter III: OF/RHP, (2026) Colchester High School, VT. 5-foot-9, 175-pound solid strong build. Above average projectable during batting practice, Luter iii clocked an exit velocity of 88 mph. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a rhythmic load, then used a controlled short stride. Bat speed was electric, displayed a loose upward swing plane and high finish. In his round he found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Above average in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 79 mph; has a twitchy clean exchange, soft hands, and athletic feet. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.5. Above average on the mound, showed quick arm speed with a long loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall feel type pitcher who uses easy effort. Downhill in line shoulders and a strong balance point. Lands square and soft with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 78-79 mph; had sinking action and arm side control with heavy movement. Threw a 1/7 curveball (65-67) with slurvey tight action and glove side command. Love the projection with the bat, chance to really hit.
