5-foot-8, 170 pounds with an equal build between upper and lower half. Pound for pound strength throughout frame. Sets up with feet just outside shoulder width and direct alignment towards pitcher. Hands start from a deep, stretched back position. Took a lengthy forward stride into a toe-tap load. Active lower half helps create tension in core. Attack the ball with controlled intent & a rotational swing path. Level finish thru contact. Worked middle of the field throughout BP. Posts up against strong front side as he finishes swing. Defensively, presented a low, quiet target at C while using a one-knee-down stance. Solid job keeping flexion in glove hand as he received the ball. Consistent actions getting out of crouch and exchanging into throwing motion. Keeps ball high on takeaway and into over the top release. Ball flight stayed true to the bag on all of his opportunities.
