Began in an athletic, closed stance with a quick hand move prior to launching his swing. Uses a low leg kick to start his swing. Bat speed was above average throughout. Compact levers in his upper half allow him to stay short and level to the ball. Found lots of barrels with some loud contact. Up the middle approach with more lift going to his pull-side. Confident actions in the OF. Works fast with an aggressive tempo. Has consistent hands, a natural exchange and athletic quick feet. Used a compact arm action and a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the base. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.11 on a slower, grass track.
