Fastball showed run and sink, 80-81 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, short action, almost acts slider, ranged 70-75 mph. Flashed a changeup at 73 mph, slight fading action. Offensively hits from an open stance, arm bar load, average balance. Hard contact, showed bat strength, long level path. 83 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively uses a long arm action, high ¾ arm slot, slight carry, 81 mph from the outfield. Projects at a corner outfield spot. 4.9 runner down the line.
7.22.14 - 6-foot-2, 200-pound two-way player, large frame, mature build. On the mound delivery works on line with squared landing, uses slide step from stretch. Arm operates from high ¾ slot, long arm action. Fastball is mostly straight four seam action, showed control in the zone, 78-79 mph. Curveball has vertical action, 64-68 mph. Changeup sits 72-75 mph, showed the ability to keep it down, occasional sink. 7.54 runner in the 60. Right handed hitter, open stance, short stride, solid balance. Path has uphill tendencies, 80 mph exit velocity from the tee, strong swing. In the outfield uses a longer action, high ¾ slot with accuracy.
