2/28/16 - Currently ranked No. 53 in the Wisconsin Class of 2017. 5-foot-9, 150-pound right-handed hitting second baseman. Defensively has a loose arm action from a high ¾ slot. Throw showed carry across the infield at 84 mph. Plays thru the ball with athletic actions, fluid footwork, and soft hands. Offensively hits from a balanced setup, short stride with average balance. Line drive hitter with some looseness in the hands. Showed strength thru contact with 91 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.29.

3/15/15- 5-foot-8, 145-pound middle infielder. Advanced athletic defensive actions, shows natural middle infield tendencies. Moves with fluidity and purpose, clean, quick exchange, and plays through the ball well. Short, athletic arm action, high-3/4 slot; throws carry well across the infield at 82 mph. Offensively, shows present bat speed and loose hands; recorded 82 mph exit velocity. Also ran a 7.14 show. With more physical development, McKelvey has the natural athleticism to become one of the better middle infield prospects in Wisconsin's 2017 class.

2/9/14 - 5-foot-7, 135-pound switch hitting middle infielder and pitcher. Offensively hits from a balanced stance, short stride. Hands work at the plate from both sides, showed similar qualities from both sides. Line drive type hitter, fluid rhythm . Registered 75 mph exit velocity from the right side, 73 mph from the left side. Defensively plays with a longer arm action on the infield, high ¾ slot. Footwork is quick, 4.40 runner home to first. On the mound arm works out of a high ¾ slot, long arm action. Fastball has slight run, 74-76 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, 62-63 mph. Changeup is mostly straight, near fastball arm speed, 66-69 mph.
