Heading into the 2022 spring season most teams had Baldwin as a likely Day Three pick. He has risen throughout the season and is now ranked at No. 105 in our Top 150 Prospects that was released earlier this month. The 6-foot, 220-pounder has a well-rounded toolset with average arm strength and raw power. He also has a chance to hit for average, while producing 10-12 home runs per season. The only question mark is his receiving. Some say yes, others do not believe he can stick behind the plate. Even more importantly his K rate is just 13.1%, walking 21 times against 22 strikeouts in 167 plate appearances. He has also thrown out 6 of 31 (19%) base stealers this spring.
