5-foot-10, 170-pound two-way player. Plachetka started on the mound for CBT on Thursday in their contest against GRB Rays Eau Claire. Has a drop and drive delivery with a long arm action out of a high ¾ slot. His fastball sat 74-76 mph, while mixing in a 12/6 curveball that sat 63-65 mph. He pitched 4 scoreless innings giving up just 2 hits and no walks, while also striking out a pair. On top of his noteworthy pitching performance, Plachetka went 2 for 3 at the plate, with an inside the park homerun and three RBIs.
