5-foot-11, 160-pound right handed hitting catcher with an athletic frame that has projection. Showed advanced actions behind the plate. Athleticism shows in the field, as he’s quick out the squat on throws down to second and showed lateral range while blocking the ball. Strong arm that played accurate across the diamond. Threw a pair of runners out against Eau Claire A’s, including one with a 2.15 in game pop time. At the dish, he sets up in a balanced stance with a short leg lift trigger. Loose hands help generate bat speed. Long and level swing that consistently produced hard contact on the weekend, including a two run double off the wall in center field to lift ISA to a narrow victory over GRB Yellow.
