Jahnke has a physical build and a thick, strong lower half that moves in a fluid pattern on the mound, stacking onto his backside early and quickly accelerating downhill. His arm plays long and loose on the backside while working from a clean, high ¾ slot. Jahnke’s fastball worked from a lower average release height at 81-82 mph and it aided him to create some upper-quadrant life as it entered the zone. He threw his changeup at 73-75 mph, at arm speed, flashing sink and fade, while spinning a handful of sharp slurve-type breaking balls out of the stretch at 65-66 mph.

Delivery: Fluid drop/drive downhill pattern, athletic hip rotation to footstrike, strong frontside, controlled finish and stays in line.
Arm Action: LH. Long arm action, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T82.3, 81.1-82.1 mph. Clear carry into the zone from a lower release height, some vertical ride. T1818, 1753 average rpm.
CB: 64.7-65.3 mph. Slurvey-type, spun off a 1/7 plane while flashing above-average action at times. T1832, 1784 average rpm.
CH: 73.0-74.5 mph. Maintains arm speed and slot. Advanced feel to spot down in the zone, plays with sink and fade. T1461, 1253 average rpm.

CB: 58-60 mph. 11/5 shape that flashed late action with a feel to spot under the zone.
CH: 64-66 mph. Slight deceleration, though spots it well with some fading action.
Hit: LHH. Wide setup, no stride approach, subtle loading action. Level bat path, low intent, slight uphill finish through contact.
Power: 80 mph exit velocity from the tee.
