Stenberg showed well in multiple facets throughout our Western Wisconsin Showcase. Built at a projectable 6-foot-3, 195-pound frame, Stenberg started his day by running a 7.06 in the 60-yard dash, the fourth fastest recorded time. He juiced one up at 95 mph in BP, the second-highest number of the day, and his 82 mph high from the outfield finished two ticks behind the event lead. Stenberg later jumped on the mound and threw the hardest fastball of the day, clocking in at 87 mph.
Position: RHP/OF
Body: 6-foot-2, 185-pound athletic frame
Hit: Begins in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick before his swing. Some bat speed. High finish, flat swing.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity. gap to gap approach.
Defense: Outfield, Sure hands, consistent footwork, clean exchange. Above average. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front.
Arm: 82 Outfield velocity. Long arm action, ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.
Speed: 7.15
Pitching: Above average. Feel delivery, some effort. ¾ arm angle, some arm speed, long arm action. Athletic balance point, in line shoulders, lands closed, a falling off finish.
FB: T83. 82-83 mph. Heavy movement.
CB: 68-72 mph. Low in the zone command, 10/4 movement.
CH: 72-74 mph. Fading action.
