9/24/21

Hennemann makes a constant impact on the game in a multitude of ways. He’s capable of roaming center field, and covers plenty of ground out there, and he’s also a reliable and energetic middle infielder. Hennemann is also a scrappy at-bat, and he battled from the left-handed batter’s box against quality velocity both this past weekend at our PBR at The Rock Fall Championships and in Georgia while representing Team Wisconsin at the PBR Future Games. He’s an athletic, 5-foot-10, 155-pound prospect to monitor after the offseason, as he’s capable of taking his game up another notch.

9/08/21

Hennemann made a significant jump after a strong showing at the PBR Future Games in August. That dynamic, all-around performance at LakePoint boosted Hennemann up the rankings, rising 16 spots in the state. The 5-foot-10, 145-pound Oak Creek product has long been one of the state’s most athletic follows with savvy, smooth defensive actions on the infield and he’s been comfortably roaming the outfield as of late, too. Hennemann’s run tool aids him in a big way on offense and his ability to impact the baseball on the barrel combined with a natural all fields approach has slowly solidified a competitive profile offensively that could see him contribute from the top of a lineup long-term.

7/29/21

Hennemann started the workout portion of the Future Games off by running a 6.80 60-yard dash, which translates well defensively. Sure hands and quick feet that complement one another. A bat to ball hitter, sprays the ball around the field from the left-side.

7/21/20

Positional Profile: SS/OF
Body: 5-10, 154-pounds. Lean, wiry frame with plenty of room for added strength.
Hit: LHH. Open setup, slightly coiled load, stride works back to square. Flashed loose hands, easy swing, occasional lift and gap-to-gap approach.
Power: 83 mph exit velocity from the tee. Max bat speed of 75.9 mph during BP, according to Blast. Max distance of 306 feet during BP, via TrackMan.
Arm: RH. INF - 76 mph. Short, quick arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Infield actions, fields out front, athletic smooth double play turn.
Run: 7.21 runner in the 60.

7/02/20

Another prospect who paired a strong showing at The Rock with his performance in the Dells. A lean athlete with premium actions at shortstop, especially on the move. Ranges very smoothly with fluid funnels through his exchanges. Left-handed hitter, loose hands, smooth swings with barrel feel. Recorded five hits in the tournament with low-lying contact that he can spray to all fields.

6/18/20

Lean, athletic frame; stands out for his natural defensive actions at shortstop. Ranges smoothly from side to side and funnels efficiently and fluidly on the move. Arm strength is above-average; short, quick arm action that fits well on the left side of the infield. Left-handed hitter, loose hands, smooth swings with barrel feel. Showed an ability to spray line-drive contact to all fields. Another emerging shortstop follow in Wisconsin’s 2023 class coming out of the weekend.

6/02/19

Shined in Franklin on Saturday. That could be something the local high school will have to get used to, considering Hennemann looks like he’ll be joining rivals Oak Creek in the fall. He’s a left-handed-hitting middle infield prospect who spent the day setting the table for his teammates, as they got off to a quick 3-0 lead. He’s already demonstrating an elite defensive feel and athleticism for his age. Hennemann has a knack for making the hard plays look easy, showing advanced arm strength and actions for his age, and it plays short and over-the-top with carry. At the plate, he showed above-average bat speed and strength, and was also able to speed up and around the basepaths. Most notably, he crushed a triple into the right-center gap, offering up the potential of some pull-side pop if he’s able to add some strength to his 5-foot-10 frame as he continues to grow and mature. Looks the part, smooth rhythmic swing, middle of the field approach. Hard line drive base hit to center and hard line out to center field. Game 2: hard fb, 11/5 bb, works quick, high ¾ slot. Scattered 6 hits in 5 innings of work. Fastball ranged from 70-72 mph, while flashing a curveball at 64 mph. Produced soft contacts on majority of pitches put in play.

8.5.18 (Junior Future Games) - 5-foot-9, 130-pound, left-handed hitting, right-handed throwing, two-way player, athletic frame. Offensively, loose hands, some uphill in path, middle of the field approach with fluidity in swing, line drive ability, 69 mph from a tee. On the mound, coils at balance, works in-line, repeats delivery. Athletic arm, easy, short and quick action, loose, over the top slot. Fastball worked straight, 68-69 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, can spin it, 61-62 mph.

6/22/18 - Left-handed hitting infielder, athletic frame, loose body type and actions. Hits from an open athletic stance, hands work well, showed feel for the barrel, ability to hit to all fields with a line drive approach. 4.78 turn on an opposite field double at Junior Future Series.
