OF/RHP Owen Miller (Westosha Central, 2027) is a 5-foot-10, 166-pound two-way outfielder and was one of the best athletes in attendance this past weekend. Miller started the day by running one of the fastest 30-yard dashes at 3.89 seconds while running the fastest 10-yard split at the event while also jumping an impressive 25.8” on the VALD vertical jump. At the plate the right-handed hitter flashed some feel to elevate to different parts of the field, while looking the part of an athletic outfielder with some arm strength up with 83 mph. On the mound the right-hander shows feel for an athletic delivery flashing feel for three pitches. The fastball topped out at 81.6 mph with life out of the hand, flashing some feel to locate, showed two secondaries, a 72-74 mph slider with tight action and a fading changeup at 74-76 mph.
