Hit: RHH. Wide base with balance, easy move back to hitting position, on time. Short and quick, direct, strong top hand, very quick hands, backspins balls to all fields. 70.6 mph bat speed with 12 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 89.3 mph. 336' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-81 mph. High 3/4 slot, strong carry through the target, accurate from multiple angles.
Defense: Clean hands and feet, athletic actions with range to play on the left-side.
ATH: 1.73 and 4.00 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 26.10 max vertical.

INF Paxton Akins (Racine Lutheran, 2028) measured in at an athletic and strong 5-foot-11, 150 pounds with good proportions and plenty of room to add in the future. He produced some of the loudest contact on the day with the bat as he was consistently drilling the ball through both gaps. His 95.1 mph max exit velocity was the second best mark on the day and his 89.3 average exit velocity was the second highest. He moved well around the infield and showcased quality range, quality footwork and an accurate arm from multiple arm angles. The Racine Lutheran sophomore made a case to be a name to monitor moving forward for the 2028 class in the state of Wisconsin.

A pair of Racine Lutheran freshman showed out well at Sunday’s event in INF Paxton Akins (Racine Lutheran, 2028) and 1B Parker Stroupe (Racine Lutheran, 2028). Both players showed hand quickness and the ability to barrel up the baseball on a consistent basis. Our staff will take notice of both players in the spring and summer seasons after their performances.

Body: 5-10, 137-pounds. Athletic and wiry build with strength.
Hit: RHH. Open stance, leg lift trigger, works back to even. Hand and bat speed with direct path to the ball, centered move with balance through the ball, has natural feel for the barrel. 65.4 mph bat speed with 8 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 81.3 mph. 274' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-76 mph. Short and fluid arc, downhill from 3/4 slot, accurate.
Defense: Fluid and active feet, sure hands, some range to both sides.
ATH: 1.77 and 4.13 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 21.30 max vertical.
