RHP/INF Rhett Lamovec (Loyal, 2027): Boasting a strong and sturdy 6-foot-4, 221.3-pound frame, Lamovec presents a highly physical presence on the mound and in the batters box. The right-handed hitter utilizes a flat and tight path direct into the hitting zone allowing him to consistently drive the ball to all fields. He showcased tremendous impact potential with a 103 mph max EV and 96.5 mph average EV, supported by 75.9 mph average bat speed and a whopping 28.0 g of rotational acceleration that points to a very high-upside offensive projection. Defensively, throws across the infield were measured at 85 mph showing plenty of arm strength to stick at third base. On the mound, the right-hander operates with a simple, controlled windup and a loose arm action that he repeats consistently from pitch to pitch. Tying for the event lead, his fastball sat 90-91 mph and touched 92 mph (1,799 rpm) with the ability to command the ball through all four quadrants. His tight breaking slider played at 76-78 mph and pairs well with the fastball. He rounded out his repertoire with a changeup that played at 77-79 mph (1,337 rpm) with 0.5 inches of average induced vertical break and 15.0 inches of horizontal movement giving him a potential out pitch weapon to add to his arsenal. + RHP/3B Rhett Lamovec (Loyal, 2027) would show an intriguing two-way profile on Sunday, one that should make him a must-know name in the emerging 2027 Wisconsin class. The right-handed arm would show intentful actions throughout his bullpen, with a quick arm and high 3/4s release. The fastball would sit 85-87 (T88) with late two-seam tailing action and was thrown alongside a mid-to-low-70s 10/4 curveball and an upper-70s changeup with late depth and fade. The Loyal product would also take a quality round of BP (T98.3 EV), showing quick, twitchy hands and an ability to leverage the ball out front. Strong and lengthy 6-foot-4, 205-pound frame with remaining physical projection.
