Lusic is a lean 6-foot-3, 167 pounds, and he’s an upside player to know in the 2023 class. Lusic was up to 85 mph with a four-seam fastball that showed occasional life to it. His changeup offers above-average sink at times, and and shows a complementary curveball.
A lanky 6-foot-2, 170-pound prospect. Currently carries some two-way upside with a loose right-handed bat that is often on plane, with the size to leverage hard, lofted contact as he fills out the frame. Loose, quick arm that projects well given his size and long limbs.
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-foot-2, 163-pounds. Lean projectable frame, sloped shoulders.
Delivery: Smooth drop and drive delivery, strong front side, works in line with target, falls towards first base side.
Arm Action: RH. Short arm action, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T82, 79-81 mph. Clean out the hand. Flashed arm-side run. Plays down in the zone.
CB: 64-68 mph. 11/5 shape with late break. Flashed tight spin at times.
CH: 71-75 mph. Primarily plays straight with occasional arm-side run.
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-foot-2, 163-pounds. Lean projectable frame, sloped shoulders.
Hit: RHH. Tall balanced setup, moderate stride works linear to the baseball as hands load back. Front foot hitter, looks to ambush the baseball at times, level path.
Power: 84 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. OF - 85 mph. Long arm action, plays out of over the top slot, above average arm strength for age.
Defense: Crowhop through the baseball, showed ability to play through the baseball in stride, clean exchange.
Run: 7.44 runner in the 60.
Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 6-foot-1, 163-pounds.
Defense: Active feet, utilizes his crow hop well, plays through the baseball.
Arm: RH. OF - 81 mph. Long arm action, Over-the-top slot, above-average arm for his age.
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, wide base, slight toe tap in stride. Uphill path to the baseball, showed some pop in his bat.
Power: 80 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Run: 7.53 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Starts from the center of the rubber, tall and fall delivery, works in line with his target, lands open with his front foot, showed some rhythm throughout.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm action, accelerates his arm quickly, operates from a high 3/4 slot.
FB: T80, 76-80 mph. Has sink to it, above-average velocity for his age.
CB: 61-64 mph. 11/5 shape.
CH: 66-69 mph. Thrown near fastball arm speed, showed arm side run with some sink to it, thrown for strikes, was best secondary offering, above-average pitch for his age.
