Honeyager is a quick armed left-hander in the state's incoming senior class with feel to locate multiple pitches in the zone. The compact and athletic left-hander struck out five batters across two innings allowing one run on two walks. Two pitch mix with feel to repeat out of the same window, the fastball sits in the mid-80s with life and carry out of the hand with finish through the zone, beating a number of hitters in the zone. Honeyager mixed in a firm and tight breaking slider in the upper-70s as his go-to secondary pitch.

+ LHP Gage Honeyager (Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln, 2026) was one of the last pitchers to show us what he can do on the mound, and it was worth the wait for our staff. The athletic left-hander displayed a repeatable, explosive delivery. He effectively commanded four pitches for strikes, utilizing his 85-86 mph fastball to set up a 68-71 mph curveball with two-plane break, a 75-76 mph slider with lateral break, and an 81-82 mph changeup with fade and depth. Honeyager initially garnered attention last summer in Sheboygan and backed it up with a strong second showing in Madison on Sunday.
