Transfer is clean and throwing motion has length on throws of 68 mph across the diamond. Consistent with athleticism Anderson recorded a solid for age 60-yard dash time of 7.25.
Offensively, the 6-foot 145-pound left handed hitter initiates his swing from a slightly open set up with a short, controlled stride to neutral. Separation is reduced by passive weight shift. Hip turn is aggressive. Reduced weight shift and early front knee lock lend to slightly uphill swing path. Hands are loose and work directly to baseball achieving substantial barrel whip. Overall, Anderson is a very young player with considerable offensive upside in accordance with subtle mechanical changs. A bat exit velocity of 75 mph was recorded.
