Physical: Stocky and physical 5-foot-10, 200-pound frame with some strength in the lower half. 8.03 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Pitching: LHP - Repeatability in the delivery utilizing a moderate tempo and controlled straight line leg drive towards the plate. The arm worked from on over the top slot with a hook in the back of a moderate takeaway allowing for 75-77 mph FB to play in the zone with some arm-side run. Mixed in a loopy 64-66 mph CB showing 1/7 shape and countered with a 68-69 mph straight changeup that showed mostly down in the zone.
5-foot-10, 200-pound primary pitcher sat 73-75 from a from a high 3/4 arm slot with a hook in the back. Repeats delivery well and gets downhill. Also showcased a curveball with 1/7 rotation at 61-63 and a changeup at 65-67. The right-handed hitter starts from a wide, slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a leg-lift stride. Displayed a deep load position and a flat barrel path through the zone. Registered a bat exit velocity of 74 mph and ran a 7.94 60-yard dash. Showcased capable glove work around the bag at first base defensively with accurate 76 mph arm strength across the diamond.
