Physical: 6-foot-3 210  pounds; broad shoulders. 7.46 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Open, wide; short take back. slides weight forward pre contact with long sweeping; 16 degree bat angle into the zone via Blast Motion. Rose is able to produce 17.9 G’s of force with an on-plane efficiency of 67%.  Present power; average Trackman exit velocity of 92 MPH; peak exit velo was 98 MPH.
Defensively: Low to the ground; sits back. clean transfer; standard 3/4.  INF - 80 MPH.
Pitching: Glove side setup, strides open w/ firm front side. high over the top. FB: T 85 MPH, 81-83 MPH; arm-side-run. CB: 69-70 MPH. 1/7. SL: 70-71 MPH.CH: 73-75 MPH with fade.


6-foot-2, 220-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a leg-hang stride. Displayed advanced feel for the baseball with an ability to get on plane early and swing with intent routinely. Showcased current home run power with an ability to create backspin. Registered a bat exit velocity of 91 mph and ran a 7.70 60-yard dash. Moves well around the bag at first base, showed a soft glove hand, and accurate 70 mph arm strength across the diamond. The lefty sat 81-83 while topping at 84 mph off the mound from a slow, repeatable delivery with a high 3/4 arm slot. Curveball showed depth at 67-70 while slider at 72-74 was routinely commanded down in the zone. Also showcased a feel for a changeup at 75-78 with arm-side run.


6-foot-2, 220-pound physical prospect showcased a well-rounded skill set in all phases of the game. The left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a heel raise stride. Showed balance and athleticism throughout swing with the ability to drive the ball to all fields. Registered an 84 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 7.72 60-yard dash. The left-handed thrower also showcased athletic defensive actions with a 80 mph arm strength across the diamond. On the mound, Rose displayed a 3-pitch mix. His fastball sat 80-81 with easy action out of his hand. His slider sat 68-69 with 2/8 action along with a developing change-up at 72-74.


The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder initiates his swing out of a spread open stance, with his hands neutral. He showcases solid separation and generates good barrel whip. Bat stays in the zone a long time, and helps allow him to drive the ball to all fields. A 92 mph exit velocity was recorded, one of the best at the event.

Defensively, Rose has shown the ability to play defensively at the next level. He has good awareness around the bag and developing footwork. A 79 mph infield velocity was recorded on this day.

On the mound, Rose showed flashes of dominance. If he continues to develop and get more consistant in the strike zone, we feel he could also pitch at the next level. On this day, his FB sat 79-81, T82 with some cut action out of his hand. He also showed a developing CB at 70-71 and CH at 68-69. Hi CH has the potential to be his put-out pitch, showing good fade at the plate and thrown at near FB arm speed. Overall, Rose continues to be a top prospect in the 2021 class in WV.


Offensively, the 6-foot-3, 230-pound primary Pitcher initiates his swing out of a spread, neutral athletic stance. He distributes his weight well from back to front in his swing. His smooth hands help him create good bat speed and a 87 mph velocity was recorded off of the tee. He ran a 7.87-laser timed sixty

Defensively, Rose fields the ball in the middle of his body and out front in an athletic position. Footwork is not an issue as he handles himself well around the bag. A 79 mph velocity across the diamond was recorded..


Defensively, hands are soft and feet work well around the bag. Shows commitment to working bottom up and out front. Transfer is clean and throwing motion has length. 6-foot-2 inch frame and left handedness play well at 1B. Rose registered 79 mph arm strength on throws across the diamond.

Offensively, the 6-foot-2 200-pound left-handed hitter initiates swing from wide, neutral set up with lift and replace stride. Excellent separation is achieved through rotating away from hands. There is front knee stiffness in landing as well as early hip opening lending to difficulty covering away. Hands are loose and there is solid leverage contributing to considerable barrel whip. Rose showed ability to get bat on plane early while repeatedly squaring ball to pull side during an impressive round of BP. Rose registered a 79 mph bat exit velocity and as very young player shows signs of developing into a middle of the order run producer.

On the mound te left-hander works out of a low 3/4 arm slot with rhythm and balance. Delivery is low effort and repeatable. Arm action is long and loose. Fastball at 77-80 flashes arm side run and sink. Curveball at 66-67 demonstrated 1/7 shape and moderate depth. Slider at 70-72 showed 1-8 sweeping break and moderate tilt. Changeup sat 71-73 while being thrown with good sell and demonstrating solid arm side fade. Rose showcased ability to command four pitch mix on this day. Overall frame, repeatable, low effort delivery and command make Rose arm to follow in Class of 2021.
