Oahu Open ID
The Prep Baseball Oahu Open ID is set for Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at Les Murakami Stadium, home of the University of Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors. The event is open to Class of 2027-2031 prospects.
The Open ID begins our identification process for some of our biggest invite-only events, including the State Games, Preseason Invitationals, Future Games and more. For 2027 prospects who are still uncommitted, there is still plenty of time in the recruiting process. This event provides an opportunity to update your numbers, video and Prep Baseball profile in front of the college coaches and professional scouts who subscribe to our site.
All results and standouts from the Oahu Open ID will be promoted on PrepBaseballReport.com and across Prep Baseball Hawaii platforms. Prep Baseball is followed by nearly 1,000 colleges and professional scouts across the country, giving players an opportunity to gain additional exposure while updating their verified metrics and video.

Players' body composition will be officially measured using state-of-the-art, medical-grade technology that will provide precise insights into height, weight, skeletal muscle mass, BMI and more. Players will step on scales using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), a method for measuring body composition, including muscle mass, body fat, and total body water. Our scales will then produce several metrics giving insight into the prospect’s body composition. Height will be measured using a digital stadiometer to get precise height measurements. Grip Strength Hitters' grip strength will be tested using a digital hydraulic dynamometer. Grip strength is an essential component to bat strength and controlling the barrel. Hitters will be put through a max strength test on both hands, shedding light on hand strength and potential power and bat control down the road. |
