Sparkman’s offense pounded out 10 runs on 9 hits in a victory over Arab on Saturday. 2022 Samuel Hogue and 2023 Ryan Strachan each had 2 hits for the Senators. The big hit came in the 3rd inning with a base clearing double from 2020 Collin Strope. Strope's double would give Sparkman a 3-1 lead and they would go on to score 10 runs over the next 5 innings.

Arab jumped out to an early lead in the 1st inning with back to back walks to start the game. 2020 Ross Reynolds advanced the runners to 2B & 3B with a ground out to 2B. 2020 John Michael Boles followed by driving in the first run of the game with a ground out RBI putting Arab up 1-0. Sparkman starting pitcher 2021 Caiden Johnson settled in to throw 3 innings giving up 1 run and no hits to get the win. Sparkman went on to use six pitchers on the day.

Arab starting pitcher 2020 Will Hudson showed impressive stuff striking out 6 over 3 innings. Hudson’s fastball was up to 87 and he was able to command it over the inner half of the plate.
