FL Preseason All-State Spotlight: Ethan Adkison

The Florida Preseason All-State has quickly become the premier Preseason event in the state of Florida. Over the first two years there have been over 100 committed players in attendance and counting. This event is held for the top 2019s-2022s throughout the state to kick off the Prep Baseball Report's spring high school baseball coverage.
We will begin to spotlight each and every player in attendance. Today, we take a look at LHP Ethan Adkison (Next Level Baseball Academy, 2021)

Scouting Report
08/25/18- Uncommitted, Projectable frame with long limbs. Easily had the most fluid and repeatable delivery at this showcase. Throws from a 3/4 arm action with a long arm swing in the back. Presently the young lefty works at 80-81 mph with his fastball that he commands well to both sides of the plate with good angle into righties. His breaking ball was a 71-72 mph sweeping slider that projects to be an above average pitch for him. Also showed a solid changeup at 72-73 with a little depth. More to come as he matures. Strong follow.
