PBR Alabama Players of the Week: February 22-27

PBR Alabama Staff

The high school baseball season is now in full swing across the state as teams begin the process of preparing for area play and possible state playoffs. The spring season ramped up in Week 2 as most teams were able to play more games during the past week. Once again, we appreciate the high school coaches that submitted nominations for the "PBR Alabama Players of the Week". This week we have 10 "Positional Players", 2 "Pitcher Only's" and 5 players recognized as "Two Way Players" that have earned recognition this week. Take a look at who those players are:

PBR ALABAMA PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Positional Players:

+ Slate Alford (2021, 3B, Bob Jones) The Mississippi State signee makes it two weeks in a row on the list as he had an impressive week for the Patriots. Logan Collins (2022, SS, Smiths Station) Collins is a slick fielding shortstop that is committed to Wofford and this week's production proves why. He was 8-13 for the Panthers this with 3 2Bs and 1 3B. He also waked 3 times and drove in 8 runs.

Brodie Dodson (2022, INF/RHP, Faith Christian) The junior accomplished a rare feat this week as he hit for the cycle in Faith Christian's 22-11 victory over Coosa Christian. He singled in the 1st inning and had both a triple and double in the third inning and then finished things off with a homerun in the fourth inning.

Mason Mann  (2021, 1B, Priceville) Mann has made a name for himself with the bat and this week once again proved why. The Wallace Hanceville signee was 6-11 on the week with 1 2B and 4 RBIs. He also scored 4 runs and had 2 stolen bases.
