2021 Future Games Spotlight: Brody Sprinkle

The 2021 PBR Future Games has come and gone. The event featured the top uncommitted 2023 and 2024 players around the country representing their home state in front of over 350+ college coaches. Team Colorado had high energy and talented squad who showcased their abilities all week. Team Colorado went 3-0 with wins over PBR Select, Oklahoma and Utah. Just as impressive, was our players' individual GPA’s. Their futures are bright as the true definition of student-athletes. 

Post event, we plan on highlighting ALL of our Future Team members.  

Today, we highlight: Brody Sprinkle. 

2023, Brody Sprinkle, 1B/OF, Chaparral. His club organization is Colorado Yard Dawgs. At 6-foot-3, 185-pounds, Brody brings a big body as a first baseman and outfielder combo. Demonstrates quick hands through the zone with some pull side and lift tendencies. Has potential for power. Has strong upside with strength still developing. Exit velocity of 89.9. Blast Hand Speed of 22.80. Versatile athlete as a first baseman. Moves well around the bag with soft hands. Possible corner infielder with arm strength development. Arm velocity of 75. Runs a 6.96 60 and can play corner outfield, as well. Big upside for Brody.

Positional Profile:  3B/OF
Body: 6-3  175
Run: 7.10
Hit: RHH   Upright stance with solid base.  Slight lower half coil to in line stride.  Hands have minimal movement and arm angles maintained during load.  Stacked on launch.  Great rear side acceleration creates great sync to hands. Plus bat speed   Exit Velo 88    Hands work down through ball and have high extended finish with lift.  Brody had one of the top BP rounds of the event
Power:  YES!!  Lean build with strength coming.  Gap to Gap approach with ability to hit inside pitch OUT!
Arm: Inf Velo 71  Short arc to quick release.
Defense: Long lean body moves well to ball and demonstrates athleticism.  Fields ball out front and plays through ball with hands. Good foot work. Project as Corner inf and has versatility to play OF. Top Follow
