The Colorado high school baseball season kicks off on March 7, opening day for regular season action under CHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2024 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down through the official Prep Baseball Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

2024 SEASON OUTLOOK:

Coach Darr and the Regis Jesuit Raiders are excited to have a number of returning starters from last year’s squad. The upperclassmen should carry the load for Regis in 2024, but sophomore Hudson Alpert may make a case for conference pitcher of the year after a dominating season in 2023. Division I commit’s Andrew Bell and Brody Chyr should make plenty of noise offensively this spring while juniors Christian Lopez, Jace Filleman, and Luke Reasbeck look to continue their success from last year. Coach Darr likes his team’s overall speed, pitching, and depth for this upcoming season while the program is aiming to make a run at the state championship.
