Joab Bolton, C, 2028, North Hall
Team Elite Black 18U
Uncommitted. Bolton put together a strong performance to open pool play against some quality arms, tallying two base hits and an RBI. At 6-foot-1, 210 pounds, Bolton’s bat-to-ball ability stands out. He’s rhythmic in the box and times his leg kick well, with feel for the barrel and the ability to drive the ball to all fields. His strong lower half lets him turn powerfully, posting quality bat speed and exit velocities that transfer in game. He remains a patient hitter who works deep into ABs, fouls off tough pitches, and is not afraid to take his walks. He’ll look to keep building momentum as he heads into his junior season at North Hall and is sure to be a name to know for the 2028 catching class. 

Walker Taulbee, LHP, 2028, Buford
Devine Baseball 2028
Uncommitted. Taulbee impressed in his start, showcasing a fastball that hit 89 MPH en route to 3 scoreless innings and 6 Ks against a strong Performance lineup. Listed at 5-foot-10 and 155 pounds, Taulbee will continue to add mass, which should help him add velocity in the future, though his fastball still got plenty of in-zone whiffs in this outing. He displayed the ability to locate it to either side of the plate and elevate for swinging strikes in two-strike counts. He’s also confident locating his mid-80s sinker inside to righties for called strikes. His go-to secondary is his big 12-6 curveball, which freezes hitters in the zone. In two-strike counts to righties, Taulbee can go to his low-70s CH, which tunnels well off his fastball when located down in the zone. He’s a premium strike thrower, walking only 1 this outing and allowing just 1 hit. It was an encouraging outing for Taulbee, who’ll look to ride the momentum the rest of this fall as he prepares for his junior season at Buford. 

Gus Steve, C, 2028, Hebron Christian Academy

Uncommitted. At 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, Steve packs a punch offensively while showing promise behind the dish. Offensively, Steve has easy-plus bat speed with the intent to do damage when he gets his pitch. He did not miss a belt-high fastball in game 1 of pool play, sending it 355 FT onto the roof out in LF at 93 EV, which proved to be the difference in a crucial win. It was an impressive swing showcasing Steve’s ability to get the barrel out in front of velocity while keeping his weight behind the baseball to drive it in the air pull-side. Defensively, Steve is a wall behind the dish with multiple blocks preventing runners from getting free bases. He also notched a clutch CS late in the game to stop a potential scoring threat. Steve is an impact player on both sides of the ball and looks to keep building toward a strong junior spring at Hebron Christian.

Krue Sheehan, 3B, 2029, Woodmont High School (SC)

Sheehan took some impressive cuts this weekend against some quality arms in pool play, notching two doubles in game 1. Sheehan’s tight turns and bat speed immediately stood out, combined with his feel for the barrel and ability to keep his hands inside the baseball, resulting in two 90+ EVs. He uses a well-timed hovering leg kick to create the separation needed to generate real power, allowing him to trust his hands and quick trigger. Once his leg kick lands, he fires his back hip and elbow well, getting the bat on plane early while keeping his head and weight behind the ball to create backspin and maximize power. At 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, Sheehan is strong, with still some room to grow into more thump. He’s certainly a name to know in the SC 2029 class.

Sam Piscorik, TWP, 2029, Wakefield High School (NC)
Dirtbags National
Piscorik took the mound on Sunday and impressed over four scoreless innings, allowing only 3 hits, walking 1, and striking out 9. At 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, he is athletic and fluid on the mound, with plenty of projectability remaining. He pounded the zone with his fastball, blowing it by hitters at 87-89 MPH, getting up to 90 4 times this outing. He showed command of the offering to either side early in the count before elevating with two strikes for swing-and-miss. He routinely attacked righties inside with a sinker in the mid-80s with arm-side run, resulting in swing-and-miss and weak contact. He kept hitters on their toes with a tight slider in the upper 70s that he could strike consistently. It's more of a weapon vs. righties, but he would locate it down in the zone for swing-and-miss or to change eye level before going back to the elevated heater. Piscorik will continue to add muscle as he enters his sophomore season, making him an intriguing follow headed into the spring. 

Jameson Wheeler, 1B/3B, 2028, Palmer Ridge (CO)

Uncommitted. Wheeler displayed significant raw power on the first night of the #PBCup26. It only took him two pitches to demonstrate the hit tool with a scorching 2B into the gap in RCF off of a talented FG’er on the mound. Later in the game, he would show more opposite field pop with a no doubt 3R bomb over the RF wall. He understands his swing and lets the ball travel deep in the zone because there is easy whip in the barrel and it showed on the HR getting out at 91 EV with a distance of 327’. Wheeler is exciting to watch at the plate as he also shows patience in the box and is always ready for his pitch but he will also take his BB’s if needed. On the HR, he worked a full count and stayed within his approach at the plate taking it the other way. The glove looks to stick at 3rd but he could also play 1st if needed because he already shows a physical 6-foot-1, 219-pound corner IF build with more to tap into. The future is bright for Wheeler and he is only a junior this year which makes it all the more exciting because he has a couple years to keep refining his tools for the next level. 

Matthew Isaacson, OF/RHP, 2027, Norcross

Uncommitted. Isaacson had a big night at the plate reaching base 3x in a crucial win or go home bracket play defining game against a strong opponent. He showed a mature approach in the box waiting for his pitch in each AB and didn’t miss when he got it. He found multiple barrels throughout the game with the same result of an easy standup 2B. The accuracy in the barrel really sticks out and the ability to put the ball in play and make the defense work. Isaacson’s swing is simple with a well-balanced stride staying in the back hip and unleashing all the power at impact with quick hands to match it. One of the most impressive aspects of Isaacson’s night was his ability to not give into the big moment when he could have easily given into it but he was patient at the dish and took his walk passing the stick on to his teammates. He was a standout at the #GASeniorGames26 earlier in the month and continued his hot fall at the #PBCup26. There is plenty M2C for Isaacson and he is going to have a big spring with Norcross as a senior.

Graydon Sellers, 3B/1B, 2027, North Gwinnett
Team Elite Black 18u
Uncommitted. Sellers went off on Sunday in a three hit masterpiece. He put together strong AB’s all day with multiple barrels spread throughout. He drove in four on the day including a big game-ending 2R 2B off the wall in CF. He had multiple hits in 2K counts in a simplified approach where he barreled up the ball including the game-ending 2B. Sellers has always come through in big moments even going to his days with North Gwinnett where he comes up in big spots in tough rivalry games. The power has started to transfer over to gameplay after showing off the max EV of 106.1 in the showcase setting. The bat speed is off the charts at 86.1 and there is so much to love about the swing including the strength in the wrists and the extension he gets in the zone with total coverage of the plate. The glove plays at 3rd and he has a strong arm with range to make the tough plays look easy. Sellers has excellent tools for the next level and he is still polishing them while looking to have a big senior campaign and lead North Gwinnett in the spring.

Brady Wright, SS/RHP, 2027, Regis Jesuit (CO)

Uncommitted. Wright had a tremendous day on both sides of the ball. The #PBFG26 alum had a couple of 1B’s in 3 AB’s showing aggression at the plate with adv. B2B skills alike. He creates chaos on the bases and gets into scoring position in every chance he gets. The two-way player is dynamic with elite tools across all parts of his game. On the mound, he was excellent in a couple innings of one run ball while only allowing two hits with two K’s and BB’s alike. There is a lot to like about his arm on the mound while also translating over to the IF as well with a max velo of 91 from SS in showcase setting. On the rubber, he worked a three-pitch mix consisting of a FB, SL, and CH. The FB sat 87-88 with late life ITZ, SL sat 81-83 and showed the ability to manipulate shape with it generating off-balance swings, and mixed in a CH at 74-75. Wright has a repeatable delivery with a whippy arm and moves deceptively downhill hiding the ball really well. He is off to a strong fall and will continue to grow into the 5-foot-8, 168-pound frame. 

Cal Pearson, OF/RHP, 2028, Pope
6-4-3 DP Cougars 17u
Uncommitted. Pearson excelled all weekend including a HR, and a relief inning to shut the game out. The #PBFG26 participant performed well as a 2-way this weekend and showed why he is one of the top guys in the state at his class. Present power as he launched one in Friday's game 374ft with a 94 EV, sitting on the 2nd pitch changeup. Great ability to stay well connected through the baseball, and balance in his swing. As a pitcher he came in and closed the game out, striking out one. Works from a high arm-slot with arm speed that stands out. FB sitting at 86-89, T: 89. CB 74-76, SL 76-78 worked all pitches ITZ, but the FB was the CMD of all his pitches. The 2028 had an excellent summer which has continued throughout the fall as well. An excellent gamer through and through and will continue to shine and be a name to remember as he continues on in his career. 

Matthew Zander, 3B/RHP, 2028, Calhoun
6-4-3 DP Cougars 17u
Uncommitted. The #PBFG26 participant pitched well this weekend. Pitched 3 innings the first game but had a dominant outing and showed why he is one of the top guys in his class at his position. Zander has a 3 pitch-mix, FB,CB,CH. FB was used early, sitting at 85-87, T: 87.3, blowing past defenders with a heavy ASR, batters couldn’t catch up to it all game long. Where he saw most of his SO’s was due to his BB. CB sitting at 74-77 and a CH sitting at 75-77. His CB was working well ITZ, generating whiffs through and through, his feel for his CB was second to none, if he wanted a 12-6 he would place it, sweep, you name it the CB was doing it. Consistent RPM throughout the innings as well sitting around 2300-2500, movement in the zone to confuse batters. Then the occasional CH to freeze batters that was also generating whiffs because batters were early. In the 3 I.P, he SO 5 while only giving up 1 hit. Standing at 6-foot-0 and weighing 180 pounds, Zander still has room to grow and his projectability is still on the rise. As we continue throughout the fall and the spring comes up he will be a key guy to keep watching as his career continues. 

Marcus Labouchere, OF, 2027, Harrison
6-4-3 DP Cougars 17u
An excellent weekend for the Navy commit out of the 2027 class. Worked well at the plate this weekend batting over .700. Speed and quick twitch is the first thing that stands out about this kid, a 6.5 runner that you can see when he gets his swing off. Makes the routine ground ball into an INF single because of his speed, beating out throws. The defensive makeup is present, elite defenders that makes the OF easy, a vocal leader out there as well. When he is in the box, quick hands and present bat speed in every swing he takes, B2B skills are present in his swing as well. As a lead off guy he gets on base at any means, fouling off pitches, elite plate discipline to get on base, but he adjusts with runners in scoring position. As the fall continues onto his senior season he will only get better with room to continue to build and grow as he plays. A guy that will help Harrison compete deep into the playoffs this season. 

Sawyer Ferguson, C/OF, 2029, Allatoona

The ultimate competitor in his class. The backstop is excellent in all aspects of the game. Gamer like tendencies through and through, a vocal leader being the voice of his defense when he is out there. Blocked everything that came his way, great framer as well. The defensive makeup is present. In the box he's as fluid as they come, batting well over .500 this weekend. His rhythm in every swing is consistent no matter the outcome. Great rotational power in the lower half, also has great plate discipline often seeing the pitch he wanted and was able to meet it out in front. 9th ranked at his position Ferguson has continued to make strides all the way from summer to the fall and will continue to as school ball comes up. A sophomore that has already marked himself as a top guy and has 3 more years of ball to continue to get better and establish himself as one of the best players in the state.|

Logan Tylke, MIF, 2029, Harrison

Tylke continues to impress in each look. The feel to hit stands out in every setting, with a disciplined approach and advanced barrel control. Tylke stays balanced throughout the load, allowing for easy adjustability in the box. The hands stay strong with a sturdy lead leg lock at point of contact. Present athleticism throughout the frame with impact that continues to develop. Athleticism shines defensively with a clear confidence around the baseball, taking efficient routes with clean actions laterally. Tylke has steadily stacked impressive performances through the summer and into the fall.

Colton Small, LHP, 2028, Forest Hills Eastern (MI)
Orioles National
Texas commit. The ultra-projectable 6-foot-10 LHP impressed during the 3-inning outing to open bracket play, striking out 4 and allowing 1 hit against a strong lineup. Small showed a heavy FB sitting 85-87 and topping 89, along with a SL at 75-77 to LHH and CH to RHH. The FB generated plenty of in-zone whiffs and was well-located at the top of the zone and on the outer third. The SL tunneled very effectively off the FB to freeze hitters or induce weak contact. Against LHH, Small flashed a hard CH that tumbled from the same tunnel as the FB, creating whiff and chase. The long levers of the frame allow for a unique delivery profile, generating over 6 feet of extension with a release height above 6 feet, from a L¾ slot. Small moves well within the frame and creates tons of scapular retraction in the delivery. Enormous projection for the Texas commit with M2C as the frame continues to fill out. 

Blayne Harbin, OF/RHP, 2027, Hixson (TN)

Uncommitted. Harbin possesses an athletically lean 6-foot-4, 195-pound frame with room to add. Harbin had one of the more impressive LH swings of the weekend, catching an inside FB out front and sending it 377 feet to the pull side at 101 mph off the bat. The hands fly through the zone on a direct path, with long levers that stay through the baseball well. Defensive actions are smooth and controlled, with an above-average arm that stands out, topping 89 in a showcase setting. Harbin showed the range to be able to stick in CF at the next level. Exciting look at one of the top OF’s left on the board in Tennessee. The projectable frame should continue to fill out and add on to the already advanced power outputs.

AJ Jackson, OF, 2029, Southeast Bulloch

The 2025 JFG alum put together a loud weekend, highlighted by 2 HRs with EVs of 92 and 98. Feel for the barrel stands out, with present impact and more to come, from the 6-foot, 185-pound frame. The bat path is efficient and creates some lag IZ with the innate ability to backspin the baseball. Jackson gets to a balanced position following a toe tap trigger that pairs well with the quiet movements in the upper half. The lead leg lock generates force from the ground providing additional stability at point of contact. A consistent performer across multiple looks, Jackson continued to impress this weekend and looks to carry momentum into a strong sophomore year at Southeast Bulloch.

Ryder Bass, 3B/RHP, 2027, Hillgrove
East Cobb Astros 18u
Uncommitted. Bass put together a big weekend at the plate, led by a 357-foot homerun he hit on Saturday night (94 EV). The rising senior boasts a sturdy 6-foot-2, 205-pound frame with plenty of power throughout. Bass lived on the barrel throughout the weekend, featuring a strong, compact swing. The righty possesses the ability to generate leverage with the lower half to complement a tight turn and explosive hands, the power will only build over time. With a quality start to the fall circuit, expect Bass to continue to impress through the rest of the fall and into his senior season at Hillgrove High School. 

Jacob Dockter, 1B/LHP, 2029, Mount Vernon

Dockter consistently impressed throughout multiple looks over the summer, and continued into the fall circuit with a big weekend. The rising sophomore has continuously shown a quality hit tool with a stout 5-foot-11, 189-pound frame. Dockter’s loud weekend was highlighted by a 91 EV backside double that he hit on Saturday night. Featuring a balanced load and a fluid lefty swing, Dockter has shown a quality feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap power. With an efficient use of the lower half and the ability to keep the barrel on plane throughout the swing, the power will only continue to improve as he develops. Expect Dockter to continue impressing throughout the rest of the fall, as well as into his sophomore season at Mount Vernon.

Blake Samuda, OF/1B, 2028, Tucker

Uncommitted. Samuda put together an impressive showing to start the fall circuit, highlighted by a 94 EV triple Saturday afternoon. Physical 6-foot-2, 205-pound frame that shows quality impact at the plate. Featuring a fluid left-handed swing and efficient use of the lower half, Samuda has consistently shown to produce loud contact. With tools that offer plenty of projection throughout, the lefty shows to be a profile that will only continue to turn heads. Samuda looks to carry the momentum and continue to be an impact bat through the rest of the fall, as well as into this spring for his Junior year at Tucker High School.
