Highlands Ranch 11 Dakota Ridge 1
In one of many game CO Preps will play at Coors Field, the Falcons were lead offensively by, No. 1 2015 Nick Shumpert 3-4 with 2 RBI and No. 82 2015 John Mallon, 3-3 with 1 RBI. No. 66 2015 Quinton Bonnell went 6 strong innings scattering 5 hits and only surrendering 1 run. For the Eagle’s No. 56 2016 Ryan Faircloth lead the way going 2-3 followed by No. 45 2015 Doug Case, 1-3 with a double.
Bayfield 13 Olathe 0
The Wolverines evened their record at 1-1 on the season by taking care of Olathe. Bayfield used 12 hits to plate 13 runs. Offensively they were lead by, Brody McGhehey, 3-3 with 4 runs and 2 RBI, No. 29 2016 Zane Phelps, 2-3 3RBI and a triple and No. 25 2016 Kelton McCoy 1-4, 3 RBI and a homerun. McGhehy also contributed 3 IP 0 runs and 2 K’s.
Green Mountain 10 Berthoud 2
The Rams improved to 2-0 by spreading their offense across 5 players collecting 6 hits. No. 30 2015 Cole Shetterly and No. 89 2015 Talon Schaller lead the way combining to go 3-7 2 Runs and 2 RBI. On the mound, Mathew Ramirez 3 IP 4 K’s 1 run and Colton Faubion 3 IP 7 K’s.
ThunderRidge 12 Rangeview 0
The Grizzlies get on the board with their first win of the season, 8 players contributed to their 9 hits including, Jared Bonato, 1-3 3 RBI, Phil Ferguson, 1-2 2 RBI, No. 43 2015 Aaron Germani 1-2 1 Run and No. 3 2016 Jake Eissler 1-1 with a triple and 2 RBI. On the mound, Quincy Ulrich went 3 IP only giving up 2 hits and Tim McIntyre closed out the last 2 IP with 1 K.
Valor Christian 16 Roosevelt 8
The Eagle’s saw their bats come alive in this game putting up 19 hits. No. 19 2017 Joel Pierce was 4-5 with 3 runs and 3 RBI and Jon Boulaphinh was 4-4 with 3 runs scored. 5 other Eagle’s collected 2 hits each. Parker Wiese went 2 IP giving up only 1 run and collecting 3 K’s. Roosevelt has 10 hits of their own including 2 hits days by, No. 57 2016 Jared Chick, 2-4 with 2 RBI and Landen Gomez, 2-4 with 4 RBI.
Denver East 8 Columbine 4
The Angles we lead by, Ben Moran, 3-4 with 2 RBI, Will Chappell, 2-4 with 1 RBI and Dylan Lutz, 2-4 with 2 runs scored. On the mound, Moran went 6 IP giving up 3 ER and collecting 9 K’s. For the Rebels, Mike Griebel led the way going 3-4 and plating 1 run. Adrian Trujillo added 2 hits for the Rebels on Tuesday night.
