On Friday January 9th Slammers hosted their 9th annual pitching/catching showcase. PBR Colorado was on hand to watch the event. Though it's still early for pitchers as they are getting physically ready for the 2015 spring season, there was still some impressive velos put on display. Below are the top velos in each class represented at the event:

No. 7 2015 Peyton Remy, RHP, Legend (New Mexico): 85-87 mph

Jaden Simmons, RHP, Chaparral: 83-85 mph
No. 19 2015, Jacob Thiessen, RHP, Sterling (Indian Hills C.C.): 83-84 mph
No. 15 2016 Nate Sweeney, RHP, Cherry Creek: 88-90 mph
No. 4 2016 Paul Tillotson, RHP, Lewis Palmer (Nebraska): 86-87 mph
