Colorado Springs Preseason ID - Event Results

Hudson Alpert SS / RHP / Regis Jesuit, CO / 2026

The 5-foot-11, 155-pound 2-way had a special day all around. On the mound, his fastball was 82-84, with an advanced feel for an 11/5 curveball. Defensively, his feet move well, he plays through the baseball, and he throws from all angles. Offensively, his max exit velocity was 91.2, averaging 86 mph. Overall, he has an advanced skill set that should improve as he matures and continues to develop his skills.

Pierce Hafferkamp SS / RHP / DCC, CO / 2026

The 6-foot, 165-pound 2-way was 81-83 mph with his fastball. With a developing slider and change-up. Offensively, he has a strong and compact swing that produced a max exit velocity of 94.6, averaging 87.2 mph. Solid follow as he continues to mature and develop his skill set.

Alexander Denny LHP / 1B / Regis Jesuit , CO / 2026

The 6-foot, 170-pound 2-way is intriguing on the mound. The lefthander throws from a 3/4 arm slot with some deception and aggression in his delivery. He has to continue to develop command of all his pitches but showed potential as an arm to follow in his class.

Jackson Pfister 3B / RHP / Grandview, CO / 2025

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound 2-way was 82-84 with his fastball, with a developing curveball and change-up. Offensively, he has a strong and quick swing, producing a max exit velocity of 96, averaging 90.3 mph. Another intriguing follow as he matures and continues to develop his skill set.

Cooper Nider 2B / RHP / Eaton, CO / 2025

The 5-foot-10, 155-pound 2-way has some twitch in his body and an advanced skill set. Offensively, his swing is compact, with some whip in his barrel, producing a max exit velocity was 92.7, averaging 90.1 mph. Defensively, his feet work with smooth actions up the middle.

Yanni Tsitsilianos 1B / C / Pine Creek, CO / 2025

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound first baseman had the most impressive round of BP on the day. He consistently barreled the ball with a max exit velocity of 97.2, averaging 92.6 mph.
