Josh Reynolds
Colorado State Director

The Colorado State Games took place on August 8-9 at Double Angel Fields in Parker, CO. This event consisted of 90-plus players who participated in a pro-style workout, followed by simulated games. Below are players from the class of 2023, 2024, and 2025 who stood out at the two-day event.

2023 Class

Anthony Treto RHP / SS / Brighton , CO / 2023

6 foot 2, 195-pound pitcher ran his fastball up to 90, pitching at 87-9 (2367 max spin). His change-up sat 78-80, with some arm side fade. The slider was 81-2, with late action that showed the potential to be a swing and miss pitch at times. High follow in the 23 class.

Tanner Pachorek SS / 2B / Grandview, CO / 2023

6-foot, 150-pound middle infielder, has a solid approach at the plate with bat-to-ball skill, competes with two strikes, and seems to always be on base. When on base, he had a good feel for the running game. Defensively, he made the routine plays and had a couple of highlight plays to go with it—a good baseball player with a high motor who can play all over the field.

Sam Coffman RHP / SS / Bear Creek, CO / 2023

6-foot, 195-pound pitcher ran his fastball up to 88, pitching at 86-7. The slider sat 77-78 (2400). Good body with present strength and room to get stronger.  Overall, still developing but has a solid foundation. He shows potential to be a top power arm in the state.

Gannon McGeen OF / LHP / Northridge , CO / 2023

6-foot 2, 170-pound two-way who stood out with the bat. He maxed out at 95.8 exit velocity in BP with a couple of hits in the games, one being a home run. Simple setup in the box, easy swing with flat bat path. Solid frame with room to fill out and add more power.

Seth Dreeszen 1B / RHP / Arvada West, CO / 2023

6 foot 5, 200-pound two-way who stood out on the mound. He has a solid foundation and needs to continue to develop his off-speed pitches, but the frame and fastball are exciting. His fastball topped at 87.5, pitching at 83-7. He showed a CB (71-4), Slider (72-74), and change-up (74-76). One of the more projectable frames in the state.

2024 Class

Johnathan Robledo OF / OF / Cherokee Trail, CO / 2024

5 foot 6, 155-pound outfielder. He ran a 6.87 - 60 and threw 87 from the outfield. He shows presence in the box, not a lot of extra movement, and generates good bat speed from his frame. Good defender in the outfield. The more you watch him play, the more you see his value on the field.

Parker Feagans SS / 2B / Valor Christian, CO / 2024

6 foot, 175-pound middle infielder. He ran a 7.0 - 60 and threw 84 across the infield. He played the game with energy and showed baseball IQ. He has a simple setup in the box, which creates a flat bat path through the middle. On defense, his hands and feet work, and he can throw from all arm slots. Exciting athlete to follow in the 2024 class.

Tony Slizowski OF / RHP / Legend High School, CO / 2024

5 foot 8, 145-pound two-way, showed quality at-bats, baseball skill, and game IQ. Slightly open stance, no extra movement, and a middle approach. I am excited to see how he continues to develop his game moving forward.

Logan Reid LHP / 1B / Cherokee Trail , CO / 2024

6 foot, 170-pound two-way stood out on the mound. 79-82 from a three-quarter arm slot. He showed feel for a good change-up (66-9) and can use it in any count. Good left-handed pitcher to follow in the 24 class.

Trevor Nordstrom C / 3B / Regis Jesuit, CO / 2024

5 foot 11, 210-pound catcher with present strength and toughness. He receives well and has good mobility behind the plate. With the bat, he is compact, short, and sprays balls around the field. Solid backstop to follow in the 2024 class.

Kaveh Meredith RHP / OF / Erie, CO / 2024

5 foot 10, 175-pound pitcher who sat 81-84 with his fastball. Athletic frame with a quick arm. Developing off-speed but flashed potential with both the change-up and curveball. With continued development, he has a chance to be one of the top arms in the 2024 class.

2025 Class

Connor Larkin 1B / LHP / Cherry Creek, CO / 2025

6 foot 1, 170-pound two-way who was arguably the top performer at the event. He was loose and athletic, with a flat bat path and simple movements. Leading to multiple extra-base hits in game play. He was 80-83 from a three-quarter slot with a developing curveball on the mound.  A very exciting player to follow in the 2025 class.

Ethan Sanchez LHP / OF / Legacy, CO / 2025

5 foot 9, 165-pound outfielder who plays the game the right way. Advanced approach from the left handed hitter who can play all three outfield spots. He was 80-84 on the mound with a good curveball at 72-74. He is going to be a fun player to watch over the next couple of years.

Brendan Fritch C / OF / Broomfield, CO / 2025

5 foot 10, 180-pound catcher with present strength in the body. He showed well behind the plate, a good receiver with mobility. 1.97-2.13 pop times and handled pitchers well during game play. At the plate, he starts open and generates whip with the bat. One of the top class of 2025 catchers in the state.

Rostin Frank RHP / C / Rocky Mountain, CO / 2025

6 foot 2, 160-pound two-way, who stood out on the mound. He worked from a low three-quarter slot, sat 80-82, and had two quick innings. His slider and change-up were both 65-69. He is projectable and should only continue adding velocity as he fills his frame.

Wyatt Rudden RHP / OF / Cherry Creek, CO / 2025

6 foot, 160-pound pitcher with a three-quarter slot. Sat 85-7 with his fastball, 71-73 slider (2400+), and 75-6 change-up. Quick arm who filled up the zone and cruised through two quick innings. A solid foundation with areas to improve. If he continues to develop, he will be a top arm in the 2025 class.

Ethan Zufall RHP / 3B / Broomfield , CO / 2025

6 foot 1, 185-pound two-way who showed out on the mound. His fastball topped at 87.8, sitting 84-87. His slider (72-73) was swing and miss when thrown down in the zone. Solid frame with a strong lower half. Also went 100.4 exit velocity in BP. If he keeps progressing, he projects to be a top arm in the 2025 class.

Ryan Falke 3B / RHP / Cherry Creek, CO / 2025

6 foot 3, 200-pound pitcher who attacked the zone and had two low-stress innings. His fastball sat 80-82, curveball 68-70, and change-up 72-75. Simple mechanics and was consistent with all pitches. Big frame with room to add strength. The foundation and projection are there, and I am excited to watch his progression.
