Scouting Report

1-28-18

5-foot-9, 160-pound right hand pitcher.  Righty on the mound and throws from an over-the-top arm angle, loose arm with quick arm speed. Toe lift to balance point with average effort leads to some rhythm and helps land in line. Straight fastball averages between 82-84 mph. Curve sat 66-67 mph with tight spin and sharp 11/5 break.  A great secondary pitch to his fastball.  Changeup was down in the zone with late sink and was 70-72 mph.

8-5-17

5-foot-9, 135-pound right hand hitting RHP/OF who rana 7.39 60.  At the plate he starts open with a high leg kick to come square.  He uses a long load of the hands to explode back through the zone.  Swing path is uphill and hands are quick through the zone.  Exit velocity was 89 MPH.  In the field he moves well, he showed good athletic actions and instinct during the game to cut several balls off.  Arm velocity was 81 MPH.  On the mound his motion is simple and effective.  From balance he sinks and drives hard to the plate.  Arm is over the top and arm speed stays up on all pitches.  Fastball was 83 MPH with good command in on the hitter.  He added a 64 MPH slider with good back door action to the right hand hitter.  His two pitch mix was very effective at the TPG.
