Rock Canyon 5 Castle View 0
Rock Canyon waited until the 3rd inning to get going, but put up 3 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning on Friday, and then added another 2 in the bottom of the 6th to win this important league game.  Leading the way for Rock Canyon was pitcher Wyatt Wendell (2018) who went 6 innings allowing just 5 hits to go along with 7 strikeouts. 

Fruita Monument 21 Montrose 4
Fruita destroyed Montrose on Friday, Fruita was led by; Druw Sackett (2018) who hit a yard ball, was 2 for 3, scoring 3 times, and driving in 2 runs, and Trey Morrill  (2018) who also went yard, was 2 for 5, scoring 2 runs, to go along with 2 RBI’s.

Mountain Vista 6 Highlands Ranch 0
Mountain Vista pitcher Jack Liffrig (2018) kept the Golden Eagles rolling going a complete game 2 hitter with 8 K’s. Hitter Jon Zakhem (2019) went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI’s as well for Mountain Vista.

Regis 9 Ponderosa 2
With everyone battling for a chance to get into a district playoff, Regis had a big win vs Ponderosa on Friday.  Regis was led by Mac Padilla (2019) who went 2 for 4, scoring 2 runs, and driving in 3 RBI’s.

Durango 4 Grand Junction Central 1
Durango’s only runs came in the bottom of the 4th, and that is all they needed as their pitcher, Gavin Mestas (2018) did a great job going 7 innings, allowing 6 hits, 1 run, and striking out 5 hitters.
