Colorado Yard Dawgs Scout Day 10.30.2021

October 30, 2021, PBR Colorado team hosted the Colorado Yard Dawgs in what we call the Barnstormer Scout Day. This unique opportunity is available for all clubs or high school teams. The event featured hitting and pitching only and allowed for players to update their profiles with new data.

The Yard Dawgs are loaded with committed and uncommitted talent that land in the top of our 2023 State Rankings. Today with focus on two HOT uncommitted hitters from Colorado.

Both were members of Team Colorado in the PBR Future Games this past August and both were “Player of the Game” recipients. On Oct 30., both took advantage of the Yard Dawgs Scout Day to display the offensive talent.

2023, Holden Pantier, 3B, Erie  Pantier displays a raw strength with plus bat speed. Uses his lower half with + rotational acceleration. Hands demonstrate ability to stay inside fastball with great timing and also an intangible knack to create barrel contact when timing isn’t perfect. Gap to gap approach and produces exit velocities of 98-101. Projectable power at the next level and one on Colorado’s top uncommitted prospects.

2023, Parker Murrow, OF/LHP, Chatfield We highlighted Parker as a possible LHP, but this kid can hit!  He has great hands, limited movement and load, with good rhythm and timing. Barrel has a “to it and through it” extended contact zone that produces gap to gap line drives. Lower half is balanced. Exit velocity of 93 with more to come with added strength. Will make his way into a lineup as hitter. Currently ranked No. 13 in the class of 2023.

Top players from this event will have opportunities to be invited to future invite-only events such as the PBR Colorado Preseason All-State, the PBR Future Games and Junior Future Games.
