October 30, 2021, PBR Colorado team hosted the Colorado Yard Dawgs in what we call the Barnstormer Scout Day. This unique opportunity is available for all clubs or high school teams. The event featured hitting and pitching only and allowed for players to update their profiles with new data. The Yard Dawgs are loaded with committed and uncommitted talent that land in the top of our 2023 state rankings.
2023, Hunter Gotschall, RHP, Douglas County. Hunter is built like a brick house. Strong lower half and broad strong shoulders. Repeatable delivery with very high ¾ release. Fastball consistent at 87-89 and very consistent in the zone. Curveball 70-72, SL 76-77 has a late break and effective downward plane. Changeup 79-80 has great arm speed. Hunter was a member of Team Colorado in the 2021 PBR Futures Games. Projectable natural and gradual growth in velocity. Hunter is uncommitted and currently ranked No. 11 in the 2023 class.
Top players from this event will have opportunities to be invited to future invite-only events such as the PBR Colorado Preseason All-State, the PBR Future Games and Junior Future Games.
