The 2017 Colorado High School season is underway.  Here is a look at yesterday's action from around the state.

Daily Roundup: 

Rock Canyon 10 Fruita Monument 3
the Jaguars get off to a nice start with win number one and were led by , Cayden Zimmerman who went 2-4 with 1 run and 1 RBI and Matt Givin who was 2-2 with 1 run, 1 RBI and added 6 innings on the mound with 9 K’s.

Douglas County 12 Liberty 1
The Huskies improve to 1-0 and were led by Murphy Gienger who went 1-4 with 1 run and 2 RBI and Reggie Williams who was 1-3 with 1 run and 2 RBI.

Grand Junction 7 Horizon 5
The Tigers take down the Hawks in a non-league match up and were led by, Jax Nourse who went 2-4 with 2 runs and 1 RBI.

Denver North 4 Golden 3
In on of the more competitive opening games, the Vikings edge the Demons and were led by, Harris Williams who went 3-4 with 2 runs scored and Judah Wilbur who was 1-3 with 2 RBI.

Boulder 9 Standley Lake 0
The Panthers improve to 1-0 with the shout out of the Gators.  Boulder was led in this game by Derek Cunningham who went 2-4 with 1 run and 2 RBI.

Pueblo South 14 Woodland Park 2
The Colts are off to a fast start and were led in this game by Gage Archuleta who went 2-2 with 2 runs and 2 RBI.

Northglenn 6 Fossil Ridge 0
The Norse get the shut out victory to open the season and were led by Zach Gutierrez at the play who went 2-3 with 2 RBI.
