The 2017 Colorado High School season is underway.  Here is a look at yesterday's action from around the state.

Daily Roundup:

Boulder 3 Prairie View 2
The Panthers get the win and were led by Derek Cunningham at the plate who went 3-4 with 1 RBI.  On the mound, Jackson Dinkel threw 2.2 innings and collected 5 K’s.

Castle View 10 Arvada West 6
It was the Ryan Kelly show for the Sabercats.  At the plate he went 2-3 with 1 run and 3 RBI and on the mound he went 4 innings in the victory with 3 K’s.

Mountain Vista 11 Lakewood 1
The Golden Eagles get the 5 inning victory and were led by, Drew Stahl who went 1-3 with 1 run, 2 RBI and a triple and Zach Paschke who was 2-3 with 3 runs and 1 RBI. Jack Liffrig threw a complete game. 

Horizon 5 Cherokee Trail 2
The Cougars opened up defense of their 5A crown out of state and lost a close one, they were led by Eric Cox who went 1-3 with 1 run and 1 RBI and Nick Perez who was 1-3 with 1 run and 1 RBI.

Lutheran 11 Jefferson Academy 1
Lutheran gets the early season win and was led by Nick Ciccio who went 2-3 with 1 RBI.
