Daily Roundup 4/28

Highlands Ranch 6 Castle View 1
The Falcons get win #11 on the year and were led by Aaron Dammel who went 3-4 with 1 run and 2 RBI and Carter Motz who took the mound for 5 innings giving up 6 hits, 0 ER and collected 5 K’s.

Grandview 14 Smoky Hill 2
The Wolves move to 10-7 on the year and were led offensively by Nick Brown who was 3-5 with 5 RBI and 2 doubles and Eric Mingus who went 1-3 with 1 run, 4 RBI and 1 double. 

Summit 5 Battle Mountain 1
The Tigers keep it rolling and get win #12 on the year and were led by, Thomas DeBonville who went 2-4 with 1 run and Turner McDonald who was 2-3 with 2 RBI.

Bayfield 7 Durango 4
The Wolverines win this 3A vs 5A matchup and were led offensively by Kelton McCoy who was 2-4 with 1 run, 4 RBI and 1 homerun and Taed Heydinger who went 3-4 with 1 double. 

Grand Junction 10 Fruita 3
This was the first loss for Fruita on the season.   


Brighton 9 Adams City 2
The Bulldogs are starting to peak at the end of the season and were led by Conner Reynolds who went 1-2 with 1 run, 1 RBI and 1 homerun and Danny Prickett who was 1-3 with 1 run, 2 RBI and 1 homerun.

Lakewood 11 Dakota Ridge 10
In a game that went 9 innings and saw a combined 28 hits, the Tigers prevail and were led by Luke Klatke who was 4-5 with 2 runs, 2 RBI and 1 double and Casey O’Neill who added 2 hits, 2runs and 1 double.  The Eagles saw big days from Ryan Faircloth who went 2-5 with 2 runs, 2 RBI and 1 double and Doug Case who was 2-3 with 1 run and 1 RBI.

Cherry Creek 4 Eaglecrest 0
The Bruins keep pace with the top of Centennial League with this victory and were led offensively by Aeneas Roberson who went 2-2 with 2 runs and 2 doubles and Blake Goldsberry who was 1-3 with 2 RBI and 1 double.  Nick Ulmer took the mound for the Bruins and went 6 innings, giving up 5 hits, 0 ER and struck out 6. 

Pine Creek 5 Liberty 3
Pine Creek continues to rack up Colorado Springs Metro League wins and were led offensively by Justin Olson who was 3-3 with 2 runs, 2 RBI, 2 doubles and 1 homerun and Tyler Matheny who went 1-2 with 2 RBI.

Fairview 5 Legacy 4
The Knights stay perfect at home and were led by Mitch Tyse who was 2-2 with 2 runs and 1 RBI and Ryan Madden who was 1-3 with 1 run scored.

Ralston Valley 4 Columbine 3
The Mustangs get the 5A Jeffco League win and were led by Tanner Hauptman who went 2-3 with 1 run and Dalton Pribble who was 2-2 with 1 run and 1 RBI. 

Lewis Palmer 9 Air Academy 4
The Rangers are playing well as the end of the season nears and were led by Paul Tillotson who was 1-3 with 2 runs, 3 RBI and 1 homerun and Conner Weeth who was 2-2 with 1 run, 3 RBI and 1 homerun.  Ryan McCarthy led the Kadets with a 2-3 game with 1 run, 4 RBI and 1 homerun.
